Real Simple Groups

Spiritually helpful relationships don’t need to be overly complicated, but they do benefit from being intentional. The idea of Real Simple Groups is to meet regularly (usually once a week) with a couple other people for mutual spiritual encouragement. The time and format for meeting is entirely up to the group. For example, groups can meet by phone, video meeting, in the great outdoors, the options are endless! Groups will typically meet for around ten weeks.

3 people, 3 questions, 10 weeks

To form/join a group

  1. Find a couple other individuals (If you need help, contact pastor Josh)

  2. Choose a time & format (ex: “zoom call Monday evening at 6p”)

  3. Choose discussion content focus .*see below for ideas

When you meet

Whatever else you do or discuss, come prepared to answer these three questions each week:

  1. What Biblical truth has God been impressing on your heart this past week?

  2. What is one area you desire spiritual growth or strength in the week ahead?

  3. What, if anything, weighs heavy on you that the group can pray for?
