Coffee Gatherings This Week

The Ladies will be meeting at Lily’s Coffeehouse Monday at 9:30a and the Gentlemen at Sandy’s Deli Tuesday at 9a for “Fill Your Cup” and “Fill Your Mug” respectively. Designed as casual gatherings for mutual encouragement, they are also ideal opportunities to invite a friend.

Collective Meals, Month of October

During the month of October, FBC will provide meals for the Youth Collective on Tuesday nights. Sign up in the Fellowship Hall to bring all or part of a meal.

Destiny Rescue Presentation, Oct 11

Pam Grubbs, formerly with Holt International, will be with us next week to share a presentation about Destiny Rescue. This global organization works with local law enforcement agencies to provide real resources to those who have been the victims of human trafficking. Don’t miss this compelling presentation next Sunday.

End of Life Care Seminar, Oct 24, 9a-12p

Missionary and Hospice Chaplain Jim Garcines will be here to offer his seminar on Living Joyfully, Dying Gracefully. Jim is excited to offer this educational seminar to our whole community.  All are welcome. Flyers available in Fellowship Hall.

Quarterly Business Meeting,  Oct 25

Following our morning service on October 25, we’ll have our next Quarterly Business Meeting. All are invited to stay and hear a report on where we’ve seen God at work in the ministry of FBC/Coast Pines Bible Church over the past few months. We’ll also give an update on the name-change process. Members especially, please plan to stay for this brief meeting.

Dinner for Dudes, Oct 28, 6p

“Dudes” of all ages are invited to enjoy a delicious meal prepared by one of your favorite local amateur “chefs”.  Suggested $10 donation. Bring a friend.
